Egyptian Arabic or Standard Arabic?
Would you like to learn Arabic and don't know which course to take? I would be happy to help you choose a course tailored to your needs. Of course, it all depends on what your goal is. Arabic is comparable to Swiss German: a language that is spoken differently than written.
There is the so-called Egyptian Arabic, a dialect that is understood in all Arab countries. Since most Arabic films are produced in Cairo, all Arabs around the world have become accustomed to this dialect. If you mainly want to talk to people you meet during your vacation in Egypt or Tunisia, for example, we recommend learning Egyptian Arabic.
Standard Arabic, on the other hand, is the written language. The Koran, newspapers and books are written in standard Arabic. Standard Arabic is also spoken at universities and in most news broadcasts.
Standard Arabic is suitable for people who want to one day be able to read the Koran or Arabic newspapers and understand news on television and radio. Egyptian Arabic is slightly easier to learn than Standard Arabic because the Egyptian dialect, which is most commonly spoken, has a much simpler grammar.
BEGINNER COURSE
In this course you will learn the colloquial language of Egypt, with which you will be understood in all Arab countries. First, learn the alphabet - after just a few lessons you will already be able to speak Arabic. can read and write. The Arabic script is challenging to learn and requires a lot of willingness to learn, as most of the 28 letters exist in four variants. But with motivation and a sense of achievement, you will quickly become more and more familiar with the beautiful Arabic script through numerous writing and reading exercises. Of course, conversation is not neglected in this course.

Course duration
Each course lasts 20 lessons of 40 minutes each (=total 800 minutes; 8 course days) and must be paid for before the course begins.
BEGINNER COURSE
In this course you will learn the written language Standard Arabic. Within a very short time you will have mastered the Arabic alphabet and will soon be able to write your first words! Then you begin to read and write your first sentences. Communication is also not neglected in this course!
